Clinical work that feels like clinical work again.

At HomeSight you'll see fewer patients, for longer, in their own homes. No commercial targets, no upselling. Just thorough, unhurried care — backed by a friendly support team in head office.

Why people stay

The kind of clinical job we wish we'd had at 25

Our average tenure is 6.4 years. People come for the autonomy and stay for the patients.

An hour with each patient

The visit length is the visit length — set by the clinical needs of the patient, not a booking grid. You finish the test feeling like you actually did the test.

Real clinical autonomy

You decide what the patient needs — not a buying team in head office. If we don't stock something we should, we'll source it.

A friendly head office

Bookings, NHS paperwork and consents are handled by our coordinators. You turn up, do the clinical work, and the admin gets done while you drive home.

CPD that's actually CPD

Quarterly in-person clinical days, fees and travel paid. The kind of CPD that makes you a better clinician — not the kind that ticks a box for the GOC website.

Sensible patches

Your patch is a 30-minute radius — no all-day cross-country drives. We plan rounds geographically and pay for travel between visits.

The patient stories you'll never forget

The reason most of us stay. Hearing aids fitted on a 94-year-old who hasn't heard their grandchildren clearly in a decade. That kind of stuff.

We're not actively recruiting right now — but we're always glad to hear from talented, caring people who'd love to join HomeSight. Send us your CV and we'll keep it on file; our team will be in touch the moment a suitable role opens up.

How we hire

A short, honest process

No coding tests, no take-home essays, no panels of five. Just enough so we both know it's a fit.

STEP 01

Apply

CV plus a few short questions. We read every application — no automated rejections.

Reply within 5 working days
STEP 02

Phone chat

30 minutes with our clinical director or head of audiology. We ask about your work, not your weaknesses.

Week 1
STEP 03

Shadow a visit

Spend half a day on the road with one of the team. The best way for both sides to know if this is right.

Week 2
STEP 04

Offer

Verbal offer the same day, written offer within 48 hours. References taken before you start, not before you say yes.

Week 3
From the team

In their own words

I came from a high-street chain where I was doing 28 tests a day. Here I do six. The thoroughness is what brought me back to clinical work — I'd genuinely forgotten what proper optometry felt like.

The coordination team is unreal. I don't touch a single GOS form. I drive in, see the patient, do the work, write my notes, drive home. Every form, voucher and follow-up letter is handled at Woodford.

I joined as a trainee fresh out of a BSc, and was registered with HCPC inside two years. The mentoring is properly structured — not "shadow whoever has time today."
