Areas HomeSight visits for home eye and hearing care

HomeSight brings eye tests, hearing tests, hearing aid fittings and earwax removal to people at home across London and the South East. Every appointment is a visit to you: a GOC registered optometrist or an HCPC registered audiologist arrives with portable clinical equipment and carries out the full examination in your own front room.

The list below is where HomeSight visits routinely. If your town is not named, the coverage still reaches well beyond it, so call and ask.

London

East London and the north east boroughs are the HomeSight home ground: Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Newham, Hackney, Havering and Barking and Dagenham. The office is at 261 Hale End Road, Woodford Green IG8 9NB, which is why appointments across these boroughs are usually the quickest to arrange. Visits also run across Greater London more widely.

Essex

Romford, Ilford, Chelmsford, Brentwood, Loughton and Epping, plus surrounding towns and villages.

Hertfordshire

Watford, St Albans and Hertford, plus the surrounding area.

Kent

Bromley, Dartford and Bexley, plus the surrounding area.

Surrey

Croydon, Kingston and Sutton, plus the surrounding area.

Sussex and Berkshire

HomeSight also takes appointments across Sussex and Berkshire and in selected surrounding areas. Availability in these counties is confirmed when you call, since visit routes are planned by area.

What you can book in any of these areas

Care homes across the South East

HomeSight works with over 300 care homes across the South East and can see several residents in a single visit, with clear notes and recommended next steps for the team after each one. Care home and supported living managers should start on the care homes page.

How to check your area

Call 0800 080 6095 or email info@homesightonline.co.uk with your postcode. A coordinator confirms availability and books the visit. From first call to first visit is usually within two weeks. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.

Frequently asked questions
